Glen Ellyn has some of the oldest housing stock in the area we cover. The median home here was built around 1971, but the single largest group went up between 1940 and 1959, and roughly one in six predates 1940 entirely.

Every person on the team is bonded, insured, and background-screened, and we hire locally. Since 2021 we have partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, cleaning two homes a month, free, for cancer patients in DuPage and Will County.

In our experience, yes, and usually more than the owner expects. Homes from that era have had decades of accumulation plus the debris left behind by every furnace replacement and remodel since. We photograph before and after on every run so you are not taking our word for it, you can see what came out.
Yes. Roof runs and long horizontal runs are common in older homes here because the vent was added after the house was built. They take more equipment and more time than a short exterior run, so they cost more, but we do not turn them down. A giant bird nest in a roof vent is a job we have done more than once.
